TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Product Characteristics

The total height of each Lombardo Handpan is approximately 27 cm, with a diameter of 55 cm, and the weight ranges between 4.2 and 4.7 kg. These values may slightly vary from one instrument to another, as each Lombardo Handpan is a unique handcrafted piece.

We guarantee that each Lombardo Handpan is handcrafted by the Italian maestro Loris Lombardo, with the support of his collaborators. We are not resellers, but direct producers of handpans.
All Lombardo Handpans feature unique aesthetic characteristics (color, shades, tuning marks, etc.) that reflect the authenticity and craftsmanship of the process. Such variations should not be interpreted as defects or anomalies.

Each Lombardo Handpan is equipped with a sticker logo on the upper dome. Additionally, all instruments carry a serial number, the year of creation, and the builder’s signature, M° Loris Lombardo, engraved on the lower dome. The placement of these elements may vary from model to model. If you wish to exclude these elements from your instrument, you must communicate this when placing your order.

We use a selection of metals in the creation of our Lombardo Handpans. The exact composition of the metals used is considered a company secret and cannot be disclosed.

Lombardo Handpans are not painted; the color is derived from various construction processes, including heat and chemical treatments.

In some cases, the builder, M° Loris Lombardo, reserves the right to choose the most suitable metal to ensure the optimal realization of a scale. For example, if a customer orders a specific scale in stainless steel, but M° Loris Lombardo decides during the construction process to use a different type of metal to achieve better sound quality, this modification will be accepted by the customer. Please note that changing the metal may result in a change in the instrument's final color, but all decisions aim to ensure the best possible sound for the chosen scale.

The product photos displayed on www.lombardohandpan.com represent the real appearance of our instruments but are intended as representative images and may not fully reflect the variability in colors and finishes.

Information about precautions and maintenance of the instruments is available on our website under the “Maintenance” section. It is the responsibility of each buyer to ensure the protection of their instrument by following the guidelines provided by Lombardo Handpan.

Any defects in the instrument due to poor maintenance, improper use, or unauthorized modification are not attributable to Lombardo Handpan.

Customizations

ENGRAVING:

We offer a personalized engraving service on Lombardo Handpans. The designs are hand-drawn by our expert engraver, using a high-quality manual engraver.

We invite customers to provide an exact design for their engraving. It is essential to specify the desired position of the engraving, choosing between the upper and lower domes. In the absence of precise indications, we reserve the right to position the engraving as we deem most appropriate.

If the customer does not provide a specific design, we will create a schematic draft of the design. Subsequently, the design will be created by our engraver. Please note that complaints or refund requests will not be accepted if the final design does not meet the customer’s expectations, as no precise design was provided.

Once the final draft is approved by the customer, no further changes can be made, and the service will not be refundable. Payment for the engraving service can be made via our website or bank transfer.

Prices for the engraving service start at €50 net and may vary depending on the complexity of the project.

We reserve the right to choose or change the courier for each shipment. Once the instrument has been shipped, the customer will receive an email or SMS with the tracking code.

If the buyer, after making the purchase (in whole or in part), refuses to receive the product in accordance with these terms, all risks related to the loss of the product will be solely their responsibility. In any case, the amount paid for the order will not be refunded.

In case the package shows signs of damage (crushing, moisture marks, holes, etc.), the buyer must report this to the courier and refuse the package. This report must also be sent to the seller at lombardohandpan@gmail.com, who will investigate and resolve the issue promptly. Damage reports will not be accepted if made after the buyer accepts the package.

From the moment the package is handed over to the courier, Lombardo Handpan is not responsible for any delays, damages, or non-delivery. For greater protection, we recommend insuring the shipment at checkout.
